Pre Award Process
The Pre Award Process consists of several steps before an award is made. For any funding agency, communication is key.
After a submission, the PI will receive notice that the award was accepted by the agency. For example, NIH using the ERA Commons system to track an application. Some funding agencies use their own system (IES uses G5, DOD uses eBRAP, etc.).
