SMILE | SMILE is the University Experiential Learning platform offered by Johns Hopkins University for students across all campuses to connect them to campus internships and employment opportunities. It also entails paid campus internships and a variety of work-study and non-work-study jobs.
ForagerOne | ForagerOne is an online platform built by undergraduate students specifically for connecting undergraduate students with research opportunities available in the labs of our world-renowned faculty. That being said, graduate and Ph.D. students can also look for relevant opportunities on the website. Designed with a simple, sleek, and quick interface, ForagerOne allows prospective researchers to seamlessly search for the opportunities that interest them, and easily apply to work in those labs.
Federal Work Study | Federal Work-Study is a federally funded program that pays a portion of the student’s wage. In some cases, FWS covers the entire wage, depending on the type of position (i.e., America Reads, etc.). Employers hiring students must make a note of the FWS award. |
