ForagerOne is an online platform built by undergraduate students specifically to connect employers with undergraduate students for research opportunities in the labs. Additionally, PIs can collaborate with other PIs using this platform by posting their projects. That being said, you can also hire graduate and Ph.D. students using the website. Designed with a simple, sleek, and quick interface, ForagerOne allows you to seamlessly search for potential candidates.

Follow the steps mentioned here:

How to:

  1. Begin with setting up your profile. Log on to https://foragerone.com/, click on sign up and select your institution. Use your JHED ID to sign up and add necessary details in the profile section.

  2. In the profile section, you can change your recruitment status using the toggle button. Additionally, if you are seeking collaborators for your work, you can turn the status on.

  3. The next step is to add details about the project you are working on. This will help candidates to apply only if the area interests them and if they meet the eligibility criteria.

  4. Once the candidates apply or if you find the right match for the position, you can go ahead and send a message to them as shown in the image below:

Once the account is set up, you can start finding the potential candidates or collaborators for your future projects.
