Mission
As a School committee, the Data Council’s role is to study the current status of data use at the Bloomberg School and at its peers, evaluate strengths and weaknesses, identify strategies, policies and procedures to improve use of data, then make recommendations to the School’s administration for steps it should take to improve data use.
Membership
The Data Council includes key stakeholders from faculty, IT, IRB and other data-engaged partners to coordinate school investments in data infrastructure, facilitate access to Hopkins clinical data as well as other large databases, and establish standards for data security and management.
