Gregory D. Kirk, Vice Dean for Research (VDR)oversees all aspects of BSPH research activities. He serves as the School’s designated Institutional Official (IO) responsible for ensuring research compliance with federal regulations regarding human subjects and animal research, conflict of interest, biosafety, environment, and export controls. For these activities, he reports directly to the Dean but also works closely with University leadership as well as school leadership and department chairs.
