• BSPH ID’s are unique to BSPH affiliates and all faculty, staff and students are assigned a BSPH ID upon employment or enrollment via a feed from JHED.

• Transferring faculty, staff, students & sponsored are assigned a BSPH ID via Help Desk ticket.

• For faculty and staff, BSPH ID’s are used to login to your BSPH computer as well as the my.jhsph.edu portal also known as SharePoint.  

• For students, BSPH ID’s are used to connect to the BSPH wireless secure network or the my.jhsph.edu portal.

• Those external to BSPH need to have a sponsor manually create an ID via Create Portal Account tool.

• All faculty, staff & students are assigned a JHED ID when affiliated with any JH enterprise. This is used as a unique identifier and login for various JH wide programs.

• For faculty & staff JHED ID’s are automatically created via SAP payroll or manually created in JHED via JHED Department Admin tool upon employment.

• For students, JHED ID’s are automatically created via a list of registered students from SIS upon enrollment.

• Sponsored affiliates need to manually create via JHED dept admin tool.
